PKO 178-AT

For the first time in Russia, BVT has developed and tested a perforation system with a diameter of 178 mm according to the API RP 19B method. The system was fired with the charges ZPK 114-AT-M-04 T in a 245 mm production string and with a perforation density of 39 holes/m. The results obtained (the penetration depth of 1736 mm and the inlet diameter of 12.33 mm) are unique for Russia and higher than the technical characteristics of the world analogues of such perforation systems.

This equipment is unique in terms of the performance characteristics achieved, but, most importantly, it is an import-substituting product, it outperforms foreign counterparts and allows Russian and foreign mining companies to move towards the development of one of the most promising and challenging areas of the oil and gas industry - the development high-rate offshore wells.
