The technology of packer perforation followed by hydraulic fracturing or well logging
The technology of packer perforation followed by hydraulic fracturing or well logging
Purpose:
Secondary drilling of the formation, hydraulic fracturing and geophysical surveys are performed in one round-trip operation with subsequent release of perforation systems into the well due to using AFH
Operating principle:
Lowering the assembly with a packer, hydraulic fracturing and geophysical surveys are performed in one round-trip operation. Then, setting the packer at the required interval. Activation of the initiating head, perforation with automatic release of the perforation assembly to the bottomhole, allowing for subsequent survey and/or hydraulic fracturing.
Plug&Perf technology is not just another hydraulic fracturing method. This is a demonstration of the technological sovereignty and operational superiority that we have achieved.
Advantages:
- reduction of well completion time by at least 2 days;
- savings in high-density kill fluid;
- conducting well logging in the interval not clogged by kill fluid without involving additional well workover crew resources for tubing retrieval.
