Dynamic underbalanced perforating technology ΔP (Delta P)
Removing the damaged parts (compacted area) of the perforation channel during cumulative perforation and increasing the productivity / injectivity of the well by creating dynamic depression using specialized equipment and process simulation.
Principle of operation:
After the shaped charges have acted, a rapid filling (collapse) of the implosion chambers and internal cavities of the perforator by wellbore fluid occurs — creating a high-velocity dynamic pressure pulse that detaches the compacted low-permeability skin from the channel surfaces.
Plug&Perf technology is not just another hydraulic fracturing method. This is a demonstration of the technological sovereignty and operational superiority that we have achieved.
Advantages:
- Increased well productivity and injectivity — damaged rock is removed, and clogged zones after perforation are minimized or eliminated during the process;
- No or minimal requirements for initial static underbalance;
- Controlled perforator dynamics after firing to minimize the risk of perforator jamming in the casing;
- Reduced skin factor and increased oil recovery
The Dynamic underbalanced perforating technology ΔP
(Delta P) can be applied in the following cases:
- Wireline perforation
- Tubing-conveyed perforation (TCP)
- Perforation of multiple zones with varying permeability
