Underbalance perforation technology followed by well completion using an ESP
Purpose:
Underbalance perforation technology with assembly initiation using EHDI/MPSI, followed by well completion with an ESP, ensuring minimal formation impact during secondary opening.
Operating principle:
The perforating system assembly, along with technological equipment (ESP), is run into the well on tubing. After being set at the target perforation interval, the MPWG/ISD is activated by creating sequential pressure pulses. Subsequently, a drawdown is created by the ESP pump, with the drawdown build-up time programmed into the MPWG/ISD. Upon reaching the specified drawdown level, the explosive train is initiated. Well flowback can commence immediately after perforation without additional technological operations.
Plug&Perf technology is not just another hydraulic fracturing method. This is a demonstration of the technological sovereignty and operational superiority that we have achieved.
Advantages:
- joint lowering of the perforation system and technological equipment;
- perforation and start of well completion in a single trip;
- can be used with a packer or anchor;
- equipped with a safety shock-absorbing system to protect technological equipment.
- the exclusion of the well silencing operation after the PVR, which prevents a negative impact on the productive horizon and preserves its natural filtration and capacitance properties.;
- the refusal to use silencing solutions allows for high economic efficiency of work.
When using MPSI:
- MPSI programmed to initiate firing upon reaching the required depression level;
- ability to cancel initiation at any time;
- capability for autonomous data recording before and during perforation.
