Purpose
The CT is designed for cutting tubing, casing, and drill pipes in wells with a hydrostatic pressure of up to 70 MPa and a temperature of up to 150 °C. The mass of the charge of the shaped pipe cutter is significantly less than the high-explosive torpedoes traditionally used for pipe breakage, which guarantees minimal side effects, ensuring pipe breakage with less deformation.
