Bvt-s / Means of detonation initiation and transmission / UPD (Booster)
UPD (Booster)
Назначение:
Purpose
Detonation transmission devices (UPDS) are designed to transmit a detonating pulse between sections in multi-section cumulative shell perforators for single use during drilling and blasting operations in oil and gas wells. They are used in conjunction with a detonating cord.| Characteristic | UPD |
|---|---|
| Outer diameter, mm | 7,2±0,2 |
| Explosive mass, g | 0.75 |
| Length, mm, max. | 35±0,1 |
| Inner diameter of the sleeve, mm | 6,45 |
| Mass of one Detonating Transfer Component, g | 1,8 |
| Max allowable application temperature for 2 h exposure, °C | 195 |
| Max air gap guaranteeing pulse transfer between two transfer components in coaxial alignment, mm | 20 |
| Max air gap guaranteeing pulse transfer between two transfer components with 4 mm axial offset, mm | 10 |
Advantages and opportunities:
high temperature resistance (withstand +195 °C for 2 hours)
Compatible with all models of BVT perforation systems
resistance to mechanical damage and other external influences
