BVT JSC took part in the Second Technological Forum of RN-Yuganskneftegaz LLC, which was held from March 10 to March 12. The event was devoted to key issues of drilling, hydraulic fracturing, and well completion. For BVT JSC, the Forum became a platform for demonstrating technological solutions and discussing prospects for further fruitful cooperation with one of its key partners.
As part of the Forum’s exhibition, BVT JSC presented a line of equipment for Plug&Perf technology. The specialists were particularly interested in the innovative electronically controlled disconnection unit, the operation of which was clearly demonstrated at the stand. This device provides controlled undocking when the Plug&Perf layout is captured, ensuring that the telemetry module is lifted and risks are minimized during emergency situations.
It is important to note that BVT JSC has been successfully applying Plug&Perf technology at the facilities of RN‑Yuganskneftegaz LLC since 2020. During this period, the company has completed about 400 stages of MGRP using this technology, which clearly confirms its high reliability and efficiency in real field conditions. Many years of implementation experience allowed us to work out all the technological nuances and achieve consistently high results, highly appreciated by the customer.
During the business program, BVT JSC specialists presented a report on the experience of using Plug&Perf technology in the completion of directional wells. It was noted that this solution has already proven to be effective and reliable. The practice of using the existing fund has confirmed a reduction in the cycle of well construction and commissioning. Currently, the technology has been positively evaluated by the Customer and is planned for further implementation at the facilities of RN‑Yuganskneftegaz LLC.
The subject of active discussion was also the technology of repeated MGRP — Phoenix, presented by BVT JSC, designed to restore the productivity of a mature well stock. The method involves lowering a 102 mm diameter shank into an existing 140 mm column, followed by repeated MGRP. The use of this technology makes it possible to optimize the geometry of fracturing fractures to increase the oil recovery coefficient and extend the life of wells, increasing the profitability of development.
Participation in the Forum made it possible to clearly demonstrate the high level of expertise and the willingness of BVT JSC to solve the most complex technological tasks. The company aims to further develop partnerships and introduce cutting-edge developments that enhance the efficiency of oil and gas well completion and TRIZ operations. The successful long‑term experience of cooperation with RN-Yuganskneftegaz LLC serves as a solid foundation for the implementation of new joint projects and achieving even more significant results in the future.
